Improving Organisation Cost Management with Department Level Billing

We’ve made an improvement to CloudPBX. It’s now even easier to group and manage your call cost groupings – helping business attribute costs between departments and billing zones more easily.

For a long time, we’ve supported Account Codes within the CloudPBX portal to the detail record system. This could be exported and used to internally log and manage the calls that each department made for statistics and reporting. We’ve now expanded this detail so that from today, the Account Code is also visible on the billing system.

Now when you receive your monthly invoice, the call charges will be broken up by the account codes as well so you can see which departments or users made which calls. Because this is customisable, you can divide these costs by individual extension or by groups.

To update the detail, simply edit the Account Code on the extension selection.
