Queens Memorial Public Holiday and Friday 23rd September

On Thursday 22nd September our office will be closed in observance of the Queens Memorial Public Holiday announced by the Prime Minister yesterday.

In recognition of the hard work of our team over the last 2.5 years, we’ve also made the decision to provide our team with Friday 23rd September as a personal time off day. This means that we will not be providing front-line support on this day.

The last few years have meant an unprecedented level of mental stress and strain for everyone across our community. The constant pressures to change and adapt, combined with the challenging set of personal circumstances that many have faced have meant that individuals have dealt with more challenges in this time than recent memory.

As front line service agents, our team have responded to this exemplarily, stepping up and engaging to deliver consistently for our customer needs. This extra day of leave is a recognition of their hard work by our team and to provide them with the opportunity to relax without the strain or pressure of knowing that work is still continuing without them around.

Customers with critical or urgent faults will continue to receive priority assistance through our emergency support team (as is our practice across holiday periods), but our first level support teams, accounts and sales teams will be enjoying some relaxing time with their families and friends.

Our staff will resume normal operations on Monday 26th September.
