Real World is pleased to announce that we have entered a binding agreement to acquire Blueteq Pty Ltd. The agreement sees Real World Group acquiring 100% of the shares in Blueteq and engaging their principal consultant, George Oosthuizen, as our Chief Information Security Officer. Blueteq will be renamed to Real World Cyber, and will see us add a range of new vendors to Real World’s Cyber Security portfolio, as well as substantially extending our client reach in Victoria.
Andrew Yager, CEO of Real World, said: “I’m thrilled at the opportunity to work alongside George and leverage his skills and experience to continue to bolster our already strong Cyber Security business. The increased presence in Melbourne speaks of our national commitment to our clients and further strengthens our support and consulting services across the east coast.”
George Oosthuizen said: “I am excited to begin my journey with Real World Group. This natural transition will benefit the clients of Blueteq with seamless integration and access to a nationwide support network. I am eager to work with the diverse and technically skilled team of Real World Group and integrate decades of experience on which we will stand to secure and support our clients.”
The transaction is effective from 3rd March 2022.
